Description
An ironic comedy based on three short stories by Mikhail Zoshchenko - "The Aristocrat", "The story of a mercenary thrush" and "Nervous People".
In the center of the plot is a communal house where the destinies of ordinary people intersect, trying to arrange a personal life, achieve respect and at least a little happiness. The manager, Grigory Ivanovich, hoping to impress the "aristocrat," finds himself embroiled in an absurd date that has turned into a financial disaster. The widow in the next room is playing a dangerous game with the mercenary milkmaid and her husband, seeking not only love, but also profit. And this whole world is collapsing in a whirlwind of domestic scandals, where a communal war breaks out over one brush.
