Workshop A Theater
Who is a modern woman?
Daughter, granddaughter, girlfriend, wife, mother, grandmother? Or is there a self behind all these roles that is not determined by one's attitude to family and others?
The "Monologue of a Woman" is a poetic verbatim that explores a woman's relationship with herself and the world. The play addresses questions that are increasingly being asked today: what did independence give a woman? Does strength make you happier? Where is the boundary between self-sufficiency and another burden that a woman takes on?
The creators of the play are looking for answers in the stories of our mothers, sisters, girlfriends and contemporaries.
This is a conversation about a woman of today, her choice, inner freedom, strength and the right to hear herself.
Genre: poetic verbatim

The festival becomes a space for creative dialogue, new theatrical forms and meeting with the audience.
The VIII Almaty Autumn Chamber Theater Festival will be held from October 20 to 25, 2026 at the Ermashov Chamber Theater in Almaty.
