Description
In an ordinary Almaty Khrushchev house, a mother and an adult daughter live together again. After ten years of complete silence, accumulating grievances and unspoken claims, they find themselves in the same apartment and trying to figure out who they are to each other now and what to do next.
And above them is the starry sky, and in this sky you can see Sirius. In astronomy, the Sirius system is a double star: the bright blue–white Sirius A and the less noticeable Sirius B. They rotate around a common center of mass along a complex trajectory – sometimes they approach, then they diverge to the maximum distance.
Physics can describe the movement of stars, but human relationships are not always amenable to scientific analysis. Ancient civilizations believed that Sirius had a third star, and although modern science calls its existence a myth, anomalies in the behavior of the other two suggest otherwise.
Was there a third element that caused the catastrophic breakup of the two women and how does its shadow affect their lives so far?
