Dedication to Bill Evans - Jazz, time-tested

Jazz club "EverJazz"

Description

Bill Evans is one of the most important jazz pianists of the 20th century. His refined chord patterns are so sophisticated and individual that only a few pianists can borrow them. Very popular even among non-jazz audiences for his subtle interpretations of ballads, Evans could improvise and swing like no other in moments of inspiration.

Bill Evans (full name: William John Evans; August 16, 1929, Plainfield, New Jersey – September 15, 1980, New York City) was an American jazz pianist and composer.
Evans had a significant influence on the development of the piano trio and chamber jazz and made a unique creative contribution - subtle, inventive solo improvisations. Rhythmic freedom and the rare grace of improvisations at any tempo and size are the distinctive qualities of the style that Bill Evans created.
