Yulia Yakovleva and the residents of EverJazz - City Pop Stories: Tokyo nights

Soft neon, warm evening air, big city lights and music that combines romance, groove and a dream of Tokyo at night. The program City Pop Stories: Tokyo Nights is a journey into the atmosphere of Japanese city pop, a genre that transformed the urban melancholy, disco, funk and pop aesthetics of the 80s into a special mood.
This evening, Yulia Yakovleva and the residents of EverJazz will bring to life a world where every track sounds like the soundtrack to a night trip through a shining metropolis. There will be lightness and dancing pulse, tenderness and style, vintage charm and the feeling of a carefree summer night.
Tokyo Nights is a concert for those who love elegant musical stories, the atmosphere of a big city and the rare feeling when a jazz club for one evening becomes a small window into Japan of the neon era, cassette players and the endless beauty of the night streets.
