Bernard Schwenter, a banjo playing master, virtuoso performer in the New Orleans style and dixieland jazz repertoire of the banjo of the 20-30s of the last century, composer and polyglot, is coming to Almaty!
Bernard Schwenter (banjo and vocals) is a professional European musician and composer who teaches classical guitar at the Conservatoire de Fribourg. He plays the banjo as a soloist in the open spaces from New Orleans to Siberia. He gives regular seminars and concerts at international banjo conventions.
Performs as a special guest with bands from all over the world during their stay in Europe. He is a member of such symphony orchestras as the Curtis Institute of Music of Philadelphia USA, Verbier-Classics and many other projects.
