Tagir Mikhailovich Zaripov, a musician, composer, teacher and mentor of young jazzmen, is probably known to every Almaty resident who loves jazz.
He is the permanent organizer of the international festival "Jazz Festival in Almaty", which was held this year for the 24th time. It is through festival concerts that residents of our city have the opportunity to get acquainted with the best jazz bands from France, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Russia and many other countries.
But his life's work is the education of talented musicians. For more than 20 years, he has been running a Jazz School, whose students learn the basics and improve their skills in the most free music in the world, jazz! Tagir Mikhailovich raised, educated and released many generations of modern Kazakhstani musicians on the big stage.
On the eve of the big tour of the project in Hungary, the students of the school will congratulate the residents of Almaty with a big concert, where their favorite jazz classics will be played.
