Eric B. Turner is coming to Almaty again!
The musician will come to EverJazz with blues from the very heart of the American musical tradition. His voice connects different eras: from gospel and blues to R&B, funk and jazz, and his stage charisma makes every performance truly memorable.
Over the years, Turner led the legendary band The Drifters (Rock & Roll Hall of Fame) and performed with such icons of the scene as Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Mariah Carey, Demi Lovato and India Ari. His work is a living history of American music, told by powerful and intense vocals.
In 2023, the artist released his solo album It Ain't Easy, which combines blues-rock, jazz-blues, soul, R&B and gospel. The central theme of the record is choice, and the compositions themselves sound like a musical journey from the Mississippi Delta to Harlem and New York. In 2026, Turner will return to Broadway with the role of Bo Diddley in the musical Rock and Roll Man, and on July 19, the Almaty audience will be able to hear him live.
