An immersive exhibition-performance titled “Feeling the Elements” is opening in Almaty at Catharsis multimedia art gallery.
On April 25, Catharsis multimedia art gallery - a new space at the intersection of art, technology, and emotion - will open in the center of Almaty. Its first project will be the immersive exhibition-performance “Feeling the Elements.”
This is a unique format for the city: projects like this have not previously existed in Kazakhstan.
“Feeling the Elements” is neither a traditional exhibition nor a media show, but a full-fledged experience in which the visitor becomes part of what is happening.
Guests journey through four elements - water, air, earth, and fire - interacting with projections, light, sound, and digital installations. The space responds to each person, engages them, and gradually transforms their perception.
The journey begins with water - a symbol of birth - and moves through different states and sensations reflecting a person’s inner processes. In the finale, the project’s key idea is revealed: a human is the fifth element that unites all others.
Catharsis multimedia art gallery features over 800 square meters of immersive space, dozens of interactive zones, projection installations, and laser and lighting solutions designed for total immersion and a powerful visual experience.
This is an exhibition you cannot simply observe - it must be lived.
