Description
Giorgi Gigashvili is one of Europe’s most exciting young performers. A pianist from Tbilisi, he is a prizewinner of international competitions and a protégé of legendary pianist Martha Argerich, with whom he has performed on numerous occasions. The second-prize winner at the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition, a BBC New Generation Artist and an ECHO Rising Star for the 2025/26 season, Gigashvili now performs with leading European orchestras and at major concert venues, from the Wiener Konzerthaus to the Gewandhaus.
On 6 February, Giorgi Gigashvili will perform in Almaty for the first time, taking the stage at Almaty Theatre.
