“Sounds of Art” is a joint cultural and educational project of the Almaty Museum of Arts and the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs, aimed at supporting and promoting talented young musicians of Kazakhstan through a series of chamber concerts in the museum space.

The “Viva Maestri” Ensemble is a unique creative union of outstanding musicians of Kazakhstan, united by the desire to show the limitless possibilities of academic performing art. The collective presents a bright concert programme in which masterpieces of baroque composers and world classics are organically intertwined with the rich heritage of Kazakh kuishi, creating an amazing musical dialogue of cultures and eras.

The artistic director of the ensemble is Galymzhan Narymbetov, a laureate of international and republican competitions, holder of the “Pride of the Nation” medal, recipient of the title “Excellent Worker of the Cultural Sphere”, a member of the World Association of Bayanists and Accordionists, and an Envoy of the UNESCO Clubs of Kazakhstan. Despite its young history, the ensemble has already received international recognition, becoming a First Prize laureate of the prestigious Accordion Star International competition (USA, 2022, 2023), as well as a winner of a number of international music festivals in Europe.
