This lecture will explore why Bill Viola is widely acclaimed as the father of video art, and how he transformed video technology into a profound tool for investigating human existence. We will also examine how the artist mastered the manipulation of time through the medium of video.
The lecture will be delivered by Dayana Vafina, art historian and exhibition coordinator at the Almaty Museum of Arts.
